Originating from a Rapid Prototyping class assignment to design a screwdriver handle, the Screw² Driver came to be through a process of sketching, 3D modeling, and prototyping with low and medium density foam.
The shape of an oversized screw becoming the handle itself was born from a desire to add a touch of humor to a form that is often focused on functionality.
The final product consists of a resin casted handle with an inserted screwdriver bit holder, allowing for easy swapping.
